Vehicle Detail
2000 Toyota Tundra AccessCab 4X4 V8 · 4.7L V8 DOCH Engine o This is the same Lexus derived engine “type 2UZ-FE” as the iForce. iForce is just a name, Check it out. · 4-Wheel Drive, 4X4 with High / Low Range · 4 Speed Auto Trans with Overdrive · Power Windows, Power Mirrors · Power Door Locks with Remote Control and Alarm (all keys and fob controls) · Cruise Control · Air Conditioning · Stereo with CD Changer and Cassette Tape · Alloy Wheels (16 x 7J) · Roof Rack · Tinted Glass (OEM) · Air Bags · Tow package · DuraLiner Bedliner - from new History: I’m the second owner. I bought it in 2004 through a dealer, from the original owner in Louisiana who I spoke with regarding maintenance. Both he and I liked it so much we both (me now) have bought newer models (the only reason I’m selling it now). He, and then I, both used it for personal/family transportation not work, and it shows all over. I bought it with 80k miles and as I have other cars, have put less than 45k miles on it sense. It’s always been stored inside. It’s lived only in Louisiana and here in Southern California with me and has never seen life in salt/snow country…..thus no rust ever. It has never been wrecked, never had any unexpected mechanical issues or been smoked in. If you know these trucks, you know they are really great! Condition: As shown in the pictures, this truck is in great shape inside and out, top to bottom. The pictures tell it all and while there are the typical nicks, scratches and dings, it’s a lot better than you’d expect for a 12 year old truck. As an indication of interior condition, note that it still has all of the original floor mats that are in quite decent shape! There are no rips, tears or holes or even excess wear anywhere. All of the rubber, plastic and glass are great. Mechanically: I say with some amazement that the engine burns literally no measurable amount of oil between 5000 mile changes…….and the oil comes out pretty clean too. There are zero leaks of any kind. Nothing is broken or missing right down to the smallest plastic detail. Everything works …"PERIOD". The Air is cold and has never even had a charge. The Transmission is smooth, engine runs perfectly, no squeaks or nuisance rattles at all. There are no idiot lights, check engine or service lights illuminated at all……see picture. It drives beautifully as you’d expect of a Toyota and it has a lot of miles left in it too. Maintenance and Services: Immediately after I bought it, I changed the spark plugs and all of the fluids and filters except the Freon. That includes the coolant, transfer case, transmission fluid and filter, oil and filter and I flushed and bled the brakes. And it’s had similar attention ever sense……oil and filer every 5k, with full synthetic over the past several years. Brake and coolant flush, air and fuel filters every other year and so forth. The only real parts replacements have been all four Oxygen sensors and the Front Brake Rotors and pads….all at 105k miles, and all with Toyota OEM parts. The cam belt was recently inspected and as it was soft / pliable and without any edge wear, so it wasn’t changed. The truck needs nothing at all. Tire Option - Take your pick: - It has 2 year old Yokahama’s on it with about 75% of their tread left. Nice tires, rotated about every 2-3 k miles. The new Tundra I bought has a nearly new set (~2k miles) of really nice Remington’s on it that are a size larger at 285mm width vs. the Yokahama 265’s on the auction truck now. See the last photo of the Remington tire. I like the lower height of my old tires and will be happy to swap to the Remington’s for the Yokahama’s but I’ll ask you to pay half the mount/balance charge or $70 if you want the newer tires. This optional $70 IS NOT included in the final auction price. Accessories: All of the Books, Jack, Tools, Spare tire and Keys are included just as originally delivered (both key fobs work of course). This is a great truck that I’d be happy to drive across country tomorrow….rain, snow or shine. Happy Bidding. Mike310-717-6693michael.klein19 @ verizon .net
