For auction I have a 1956 Buick Special 4 door hard top. The odometer reads 58,114 miles.There is a mileage statement included saying this is actual mileage but who knows.The body appears reasonably solid however the front floor pans are rusty the worst being the drivers side and there is a sizable rusted area on the lower left front corner of the hood ( pictured ) .The trunk pan and the frame is solid. It has been repainted once in the original color and is faded and flaking in various areas.The glass in the two front doors is cracked and the rest is fogged around the edges. All the chrome is driver quality and needs replating and most of the stainless is in good condition.The dash is complete and untouched but the steering wheel is cracked.There are real wire wheels on the car and very good tires however the wheels are somewhat rusty they look much better in the pictures. The engine starts and runs good but needs a good tune up and oil change. The transmission shifts and works like it should. It has a good high brake pedal and stops good. The gas tank has been removed and needs cleaning. Right now the car runs on gallon jug. A battery will be supplied to load the car on to the transport but not included in the sale. This car is complete and would make a excellent parts car or with some work a good driver. The car comes with a clear title and is sold as is.
