Thank you for looking at our old car. This is a 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible. The car has a 352 Engine with dual exhaust and a 4 barrel carb. It starts and runs great. We believe this to be a 2-owner car. It has a clean title with 45,000 actual miles. We believe the convertible top is original, and in bad shape. It needs to be replaced. The convertible top works perfectly up and down. We purposefully did not put a top on because we did not want to stop a buyer from purchasing this vehicle because it’s the wrong color, so the new owner can pick a white top, black top, or maybe a red top, and the car will look beautiful with the top up. Since we are selling it, and it’s a classic car, we did not want to make that decision for the new owner. The car runs well, and it needs to be driven a little more because with 45,000 miles, you know that it spent most of its life sitting and not being driven. For the age of this vehicle, it was driven less than 1,000 miles per year. This car has all-new brakes front and back, 3 new brakelines, a new master cylinder, starter, and battery. It drives straight down the road like you’re the king of the road. The exhaust on the right-hand side near the front by the motor has a small leak that we did not fix. The carb is original to the car, but it will need a rebuild in the future, but it is still a cool car to drive. We took many pictures of this car so that we can display the clean originality of it. One lucky bidder is going to get a beautiful classic. The parade boot is on the car in all of the pictures, and the owner’s manual is in the glovebox. This is a no-reserve auction, which means that the last highest bidder when the auction is over will win the car. Every time you bid on the car keep in mind that you have an opportunity to be the owner, so your bid means something. We encourage all bidders to stop out, personally examine the car and drive it for themselves. If you can’t personally make it out to check out this vehicle, simply find a local mechanic to look at the vehicle and give you a personal report on the condition. We need the car paid for within 3 days, either by cash or wire transfer, after the auction is over. We would like the car picked up from our lot within 7 days of auction ending. There will be a $100 paperwork fee added on to the final sale price of the vehicle. If you need a 30 Day Tag it’s $18.50. If we need to transfer your title (and not hand you your title) we will also have to collect the tax in your county if you live in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Florida, Indiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, South Carolina or Washington. We will not pay any shipping fees, but we would be glad to assist your shipper in picking up your vehicle. Please remember that if you have any questions about the car call or stop by before you bid.
