I truly am very sad to have to sell this car. It drives very ideally. & I have sampled how many cars drive. Volvos are always either #1 or in the Top 3 in crash Tests. It is of The Safest cars you can get. I have been told that 2001 Volvos were made with thicker cores/body frame, than much newer ones. This car has been really excellent for the past 6 years. I would keep it if I could, and want to buy another one just like it soon. The reason I have to sell it is because it all started with a hose that needed to be replaced. The mechanic who replaced the hose left it without also replacing the fluid that needed to be replenished. I assumed it had been replenished & drove off in it... only to very quickly see smoke coming from under the hood. I immediately took it to a very near auto repair shop just 2 miles from here. The quote to fix the gasket (1200 = for a part that costs $30 on ebay).I would go trade it in, but the older volvo like it that I want to buy is a few states away. More info about this vehicle: It has no damage to it`s body, leather interior, 32 mpg fuel ecnomy, sun & moon roof, has not been smoked in, a fine stereo, & 143,408 miles.I am happy to answer any questions.
