YES, the car is race ready.I have raced the car at the local 1/8 mile drag strip 6 different times and have won money twice.it is very consistant.runs 7.60 @ 92 mph in street trim with mufflers and drag radials.I have not run slicks or open headers.engine has a 780 race prepped holley.I think it could use a bigger carb. but it runs consistant with no problems whatsoever.engine does not smoke or has absolutely no blow by.it is 11 to 1 compression ratio and I run 100 octane cam2 from the pump.it will run on 93 pump but I have not raced it with 93.the car ran consistant 7.70 with the 4.56 gearing.the reason I changed the gear is because it had a whine in it I did not like,so I went with a new 5.14 richmond gear.this car drives straight and launches hard.at 4200 lbs.it has 1.69 sixty foots.engine makes a ton of torque and I shift it at 6500 rpm.I hope this answers most of the questions I have recieved.thanks guys.
