1968 mustang fastback 289 c code up for auction is my 1968 mustang fastback c-code restoration project.It has a factory 289 cid engine backed by an automatic transmission. This 68 does run and drive but is not road worthy. It will need a full restoration but its a real c-code fastback, a worthy project. This 68 fastback is fairly solid structually. Front frame rails are in nice shape. The drivers floor and torque boxs have been patched and appear solid. The passenger side floor and torque boxs appear original and are in ok shape. it will need work on the rear frame rails as they have rust on the end of the rail by the rear spring mount.They dont have giant hole and are not completely gone but they are swelled up and rusty. Over all shes a fairly solid project. This mustang fastback has a 289 cid 2v engine and a c4 transmission.It does run and drive but will need rebuilt. It has manual brakes and manual steering. I believe it was an air conditioned car but im not positive. There is no exhaust and she run good enough for transport. This is 1968 mustang c-code fastback. It is one of americas great iconic muscle cars. It will need full restoration but it runs and drives. Though its not road worthy it is a great project fastback and is ready for you to restore it your way.Make it a shelby clone, gt500e or back to factory thats up to you.
