I LOVE MY TRUCK !!! I am only getting rid of my beloved because i need something more economical for work... This truck has been great to me ! This engine is very strong and I have never had any problems with it ! I have replaced the clutch and the transmission about a year and a half ago and that is about all of the work that has been needed other than standard maintenance. It should be noted that the check engine light has been on for quite some time. When I ran the codes it said the CO2 sensors were bad. i replaced them and the light will not turn off. However, the truck runs excellent. This engine is the 4.7 V8 and has lots of pick up and power. The 4 wheel drive works fine, however, you have to play with the shifter to get it into gear because when I lifted the truck the gear shifter was off three inches from the lever. I would like to also note that the truck comes with a...wait for it..."State of the Art" cassette player ! that’s right i said it...This truck is equipped with one of the finest stereo systems for its time... and I think if you check around.... you will find that a cassette player is NOT standard in most of the "boring" trucks of today. Also I will throw in the Fire Fighter sticker on the back window(because i really like you !). This should keep you from getting pulled over by those nasty Duke of Hazzard Cops... and what can I say??... The sticker is worth the rest of the truck in gold...I mean if you don’t like the truck...buy it anyway so you can get that awesome sticker !!! I will be happy to answer any questions about my baby.
