Five Speed 1984 BJ42 Land Cruiser $9,800 • Left hand drive Canadian model all original • 311,000 km or 193,000 miles • Runs like a champ, idles very smooth • 4 cylinder 3B Diesel engine, arguably the best ever put in a Land Cruiser. Gets 30-32mpg • Undercarriage and frame in good shape 7 out of 10 • Body 7.5 outa ten. It has had some repair along the way. • Paint 7 outa 10. Good but not great. • Tires are good 10 outa 10. Frame and body mounts are solid. Inside wheel plates on front are great tracks extremly straight, so all tie rods, staering... is great. A good indication that it has not seen very much off pavement use. Recent road safety test done. Passed. A survivor indeed. Original Canadian BJ42 five speed power steering. It has some work done along the way to the body, but was undercoated all of its life. Frame and body mounts are excellent. New this month to get ready for sale - tires $1200 - front wheel bearings - lights/bulbs all around - new batteries - steering arm Not perfect, if so I'd be asking 15,000+ Just had a mechanic go over everything, and do minor work, and had it saftied . Very easy import into the United States as it is 25 years old. Just show customs the registration and proof of purchase and drive home.
