Vehicle Detail
1964 MGB MK1 Roadster Convertible. Consider this either a project or parts car. There is NO TITLE, Bill of Sale Only. Please ignore the Title Clear listing, EBAY did not have a option for no title. Not Running, Milage listed is from the instrument cluster, but the ACTUAL MILEAGE Unknown, also not a option on the ebay listings menu. Car is sold AS IS/ WHERE IS. I can help push on a trailer if need be. Local delivery of up to 40 miles +/- of 97009 is possible for some help with the gas. (My truck gets 9-mpg). ENGINE/TRANSMISSION: The car has a newer MGB 5-main bearing engine, I have not tried to start it, but it does rotate by hand. It is also supposed to have a 4-speed with overdrive manual transmission. I do not know how to tell, but it does show 4 gears with an overdrive switch on the shifter. Actual conditions unknown. Original Style Batteries are still in place. BODY: Has aluminum hood, dash panel is flat, I believe it is original, has instruments. Floor boards have been replaced with what appears to be MOSS Motors replacement floor panels. Trunk floor shows some rust issues, mostly pin hole, also appears prior owner was converting to trunk mount battery, Main body looks decent, does have rust bubbling showing through paint on right side low on body between rear wheel well and rocker assembly. The top assembly is present, along with an old top that still has the front header bar attached. Windshield assembly is present along with vent windows, and door windows, all glass is good. Original seats are present , but have been recovered in vynal. There is also a trunk mount luggage rack (appears new, looks like the $200. luggage rack in MOSS motors catalog) not yet installed to trunk. The car is aprox. 95% complete, most noticeable missing items is the steering wheel and front grill, drivers door handle, front marker light lenses, and fender rear view mirrors. I believe the rest of it is there, but as the car is somewhat disassembled, I can not tell for sure. There are MANY boxes of parts, some used, some new, some NOS (handles), some extra, included. Also include a Haynes MGB shop manual. INSPECTION is available, but must be done prior to auctions end. Please contact me to make arrangements. PAYMENT due by PAYPAL or CASH within 72 hours or auctions end. If other arrangements are needed, please discuss them with me in advance of auctions end, I am flexible if you are sincere. STORAGE: I can store the MGB for up to 30 days if needed, However it will be outside, under tarp. I need my shop space. Longer term storage possible, but needs to be discussed prior to auctions end. The 64 Chevrolet Belair 4 door sedan in the pics will be available in a future auction, if interest warrants it. Its a factory 284 PG A/C car. Runs good, 2014 tags. Needs interior redone. Needed something to fill up the picture list I paid for. Contact me if you would like to see it auctioned or listed with a buy it now.
