For sale by private owner on behalf of estate. 1927 Armstrong Siddeley Details as far as we know are listed above. This Armstrong had been running up until aprox. 4 years ago when owner passed away. Has been in storage since. Is in good condition. Some of the good points of this example are:* Excellent condition blue leather interior* All Smiths gauges present and in good condition* No rust* Brakes do work fine (not seized)* No rips in the vinyl roof trim* No engine leaks* No body or trim damage* Tyres appear to be road worthy* Excellent condition wooden battery box* All interior handles, lamps, lenses etc are present* Good condition colour coded wheels* Chassis number is still present on vehicle (42333)* No cracks on dashboard Work Required:* Although paint is in good condition overall, the bonnet and scuttle have scratches (see picture) so would require a respray* Scuttle has a few small patches of light surface rust (Not scaling, simply discoloured)* Has no exhaust system, was going to make one but thought it best to leave to the buyer so as to achieve a more original result* No battery fitted* General lubrication, nothing in particular sticking, however the lubricants may have deteriorated with age / lack of use* Closing trim strip from scuttle is missing* Re-varnish interior window trims As Armstrong is in New Zealand, shipping is at buyer's expense.
