This car was restored by a retired Army Core engineer in Austin, TX. The car has 1344 miles on it since then. Except for the work done by Apple Hydraulics, and Precision Machine; all the work was done by him. Complete tear down & rebuild New Fuel Pump New Water Pump New Main Bearings New Piston Rings Valves ground in head New Flywheel New Clutch New Driveshaft mid-line bearing New Universal Joints New Brakes New Power Brake Assist Cylinder New Master Cylinder Rear end overhauled and shimmed Twin Su-HS6 Carburators - sent to Apple Hydraulics in New York for rebuild and overhaul as a pair All Upholstery new All Carpet (including thick sound deadening) new, including trunk Dashboard new New Windshield All other glass in excellent condition Electronic ignition added Cloth Car Cover All 4 new tires Spare tire included along with Jack and Lug Wrench JVC/CD Player, with IPOD/IPHONE input cable, includes speaker boxes on rear package tray.Good paint, but not perfect. Some touchup's in places. Get MANY MANY compliments on this car.Most brightwork (chrome) is very good, but not perfect. Since photo taken, original clock has been installed in place of modern TEMP gauge. Original OIL/WATER temp gauge has been restored to working order.Original A/C unit and all the related parts/equipment is included. Was working but was not refitted yet. This was a long-term project spanning 7 years. The a/c is about the last item yet to be refitted. The original blower is banged up. A brand new model (much smaller and efficient) is included - And would be perfect installed under the passenger side dash. The car should be considered a "driver" (some would say that's underrating it), which I am sure you understand is not a car to be entered in a Monterey concours d"elegans competetion. . It is not perfect but it is damn good. Please do not bid on this unless you intend to purchase. We ENCOURAGE people to either have the vehicle inspected or come to see it themselves.
