Vehicle Detail
1971 Porsche 914, 2.0 with dual Weber carburetors. Convertible. 5 speed manual transmission. auxiliary oil cooling fan. Solid motor, good paint, good interior. Zero rust. car has had only 3 owners and has been garaged its whole life. car is turnkey ready to go. You never seen a more loved and pampered car. This is a tough one for me..This beautiful car was my husbands. I lost him to cancer last month. He loved this car so much, it was his baby. If it had one speck of dust on it, he would be out there taking care of it. It was our date car or take a drive through the wineries car. I loved being the passenger in the Porsche. I am to nervous to drive it myself, so I will let it go to a good home. I just hope that the person that gets this car will love it as much as my husband did! I have two little video clips that I took with my photo camera. One is of the exterior and the other is the interior and starting the engine, so you can hear it. I am not as knowledgeable about the car as my husband was. So if you would like to call the Porsche mechanic that worked on the car, he is happy to help. He would change the oil and adjust the valves regularly and he loved the car too. His name is Gary Betz with Gary Betz Enterprises. He is a German Porsche mechanic that is very well known. His number is 805-659-3311. When you call, you will just need to jar his memory when he answers. Just say you are interested in the black 914 that Harrison Douglas owned. He told me he would be happy to help me out in this way.
