Manual with Overdrive

I am listing this great original 1968 MGB GT, with a low reserve. Really fun, daily driver with factory overdrive and A/C I purchased this car 6 months ago and was planning on completing the body and underbody work to bring it back to original condition but only got to sorting out the mechanical, electrical and body work. I am now forced to sell the car. I might have done more but I have been driving it daily since I bought it and found it was really fun to drive and didn't want to lay it up for paint and underbody work. Body Work This car should have new floor pans and lower castle rails to make it original. I have made plywood floors to temporarily make the seats stable (worked really well). There also is a rusted section of frame on the drivers side and I have purchased the replacement member and will included it with the car ($350 from Moss). I have done 90% of the body repair and painted over the primer with almost matching paint preparing the body for a new paint job and making it acceptable looking from 10'. There are small dents on the aluminium hood from a hale storm. Other than underbody work and a paint job, this is a great car for the person looking for one of the most original cars of this make that I have seen. Mechanical The motor and mechanicals are in good condition and I would classify it as an excellent driver very reliable and fun to drive. The overdrive is original to the car and is in great running order. New tires have been put on its original wire wheels. New cuppernickle brake lines have been installed with a new master cylinder and rebuilt clutch and slave cylinders. Brakes steering and clutch all work as they should. All fluids have been replaced, motor tuned and timed with new cap rotor and wires. New thrust washers have been installed in the differencial and the speedometer has been sorted out and is now working properly along with all the lights and accessories. The interior is in good condition, new carpets and a nice really nice Panasonic USB C/D stereo has been added. The AC is orginal to the car and has been serviced and charged and works quite well. ** This car is a complete and orginal car.
