For sale is a 1961 MGA MKII Coupe which has a rebuilt 5 main "B" engine and transmission with over drive. The car has had a frame-on restoration including frame stripped and painted, new fuel, brake lines and wiring harness. A new Old English paint has been applied in 2010, a complete new interior including, floors, red leather seats, gray carpeting, headliner, radio and new windshield has been installed. In addition an air conditioning system is 80% installed, it still needs hook up; evaporator, electrical and charging, I have all parts to complete this which would be included with the car. Also included with the car is an extra radiator due to the one in the car being dented on the bottom.The car has an alternator and is changed to negative ground,it also has it's original steel disc wheels with radial tires and a luggage rack. The tachometer and speedometer were rebuilt by Nisonger and all other guages are functional. The car was being restored by it's former owner who passed away and was then sold by his widow being only partially completed. According to records there were 156 coupes imported to the USA in 1961 and only 26 in 1962, the last year of manufacture. The car was driven from PA. to Maine last summer without leaving me stranded and is a great driver on the highway. Please feel free to ask any questions!
