***NO RESERVE***1967 Ford Galaxie LTD 2 door hardtop390 V8 You are looking at an excellent running and driving 1967 LTD coupe. I bought this car through a friend from the estate of an old rodeo cowboy, who was well know around the Calgary Stampede and the rodeos in Nevada and California. This car was his constant companion and he would bring it with him whenever he competed, as a result the car spent a lot of time in the southern dessert. Since his passing the car has been in storage, first with the estate for many years, then in my collection for the past 4 years. I am selling the property where my storage building is located and must sell about 20 of the cars I no longer have room for. This is one of them, I had never driven this car until recently when I sent it to a detail shop, I was very pleased at how beautifully it ran after all this time. Below is the description. BODY: The sun has baked the paint off this car right down to the primer in most places... the floors and trunk are excellent... the front doors, hood and trunk lid and front frenders are very good... the glass is all good with no cracks or clouding... all chrome and trim is there, nothing missing the rear bumper has two rust holes at the bottom... the vinyl top is dry but presentable and has not shrunk or torn. INTERIOR: The seats are are in good condition with no rips or tears... the carpet is like new... the rear package tray is in good condition but faded... the headliner is very good, the dash pad is cracked... the door panels are very good... the dash is complete and not drilled or cut and has all the original trim gauges and radio. MECHANICAL: The car seems excellent mechanically... the exhaust seems very good... it steers and stops nicely ... the engine starts and runs smooth and does not appear to burn any oil, make strange noises or leak... the trans. shifts well... all lights appear to work... the battery will need to be replaced... the suspension sits up as it should. OTHER: The overall condition of this car is very good for an unrestored 1967 car. In driving the car over the last few days I found it reliable, comfortable, it steers and stops as it should and it has none of the squeaks or rattles that old car like to give, it has a spare and jack and the tires are in good condition. I believe you could fly in and drive it home, NEEDS: As far as I can tell it needs very little, the paint is poor and needs to be redone, it has rust in the bottom of the rear wheel openings as shown in the pictures but this is an easy area to repair and insert panels are available. The dash pad is cracked but dash pad overlays are only $140.00 and take just a few minutes to install, other than that it will need a battery and should have the fluids changed as it has been sitting for a long while. LOCATION: The car is located just outside of Salmon Arm, British Columbia a few hours from the US border. If you are a US buyer I can help with the paperwork need to import the car (I am familiar with the process). This car was last registered in Alberta Canada. If you are a BC buyer I can get it inspected and registered in BC for you for $400.00 or you can do it yourself for much less. I am offering this car with a low starting bid and Unreserved because soon I will not have storage for it, I believe it is worth considerably more than it may bring at auction. 1967 LTDs are very hard to find but in coupes its almost impossible. If your looking for a good running reliable classic that is complete and won't cost a fortune, this may be your chance to by it a far below market value.
