In 1949 Oldsmobile set the American automotive world on it's heels with the first mass produced OHV compact 303.7 CI V8 engine that made 135 H.P and 263 ft/pds of torque. These cars were fast for their day unfortunately most of these cars got scrapped by Hot Rooders that just wanted motor and trans. Even though the two door fastback is more desirable, the for doors are now rarer as most were scrapped. This is a survivor although it's sat for years it's all there. The car is located in Tuscon AZ so if you have any questions I'll need to ask the owner and get back to you. This a Complete car it's been sitting for years in the dry climate of AZ for years, the floor boards have some rot but that is to be expected from a car that is 63 years old, the owner as told me that the car is complete from what he remembers, and that it was a running car ten years ago. From what you can see from the pictures it is straight other wise and t still has all the trim on it I don't know if the hub caps are in the trunk or not. The car used to belong to his dad, the current owner ( my friend) isn't much of a car guy so he asked me to list this car for sale he has clear title. On Jun-10-12 at 21:03:42 PDT, seller added the following information: The owner told me tonight that the Hydromatic is n not in the car it has a manual trans he thinks it's a 4 speed and that the motor has n been hopped up too. On Jun-16-12 at 13:07:41 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTE I HAVE PHOTOS BEING TAKEN TODAY AND WILL POST THEM TONIGHT OF THE INTERIOR AND MOTOR. Finally got some interior photos there's rust in the floor, but it isn't as bad as I thought.
