Also I think you can get a better feel for a vehicle by speaking to someone vs. endless emails. ~You're looking at a absolutely beautiful 1977 International Scout II Rallye 4x4. 1 documented owner. Original title, line setting ticket and all books. 100% Rust free, Un- molested, dry desert truck. It was sold new in Phoenix and lived there its entire life until I brought it to San Diego. Its never seen a day of bad weather or a salty road in its life! ~93,000 original miles. Factory 345 V8 4spd. manual transmission, AC Power steering and brakes. Adult owned. Never abused off road and carefully maintained. ~The paint and body are outstanding! She stared as a completely Rust free original scout. No bondo here! Its had one high quality repaint in its life. The body is straight as arrow with not so much as a scratch! All trim was removed, glass, seals, ect.. before paint. No corners were cut and it was done right! Nice $4500 2 stage base coat clear coat. You can still see all of the factory spot welds down the rocker panels. (see pics) The undercarriage is just as nice. Completely rust free. No rust, no patching, no undercoating gunk, just nice, dry and original. The floorboards under the carpet are perfect as well. New door weather stripping. New glass seals. I also had all of the side trim polished. ~The interior looks like new! The seats have been redone along with new carpet. They are finished in Ivory softside. All of the glass is good. The rear cargo area is very nice. Never hauled anything and looks as good as the rest of the truck. ~Runs and drives very well. Engine sounds great! Transmission shifts smooth. No grinding or popping out of gear. New brakes. New Goodyear tires. Drives straight down the road and is very tight. All of the 4x4 works fine. 4 brand new Goodyear tires mounted on factory chrome wheels. ~These good old original un-molested Scouts are getting nearly impossible to find. There are tons of beat up, cut up, rock crawler rust buckets out there but only a hand full of good ones like this. You would spend alot more than my asking price trying to restore one not to mention the time. This one is ready to go and enjoy! It's a very nice example! ~TERMS OF SALE - non refundable $1,000 deposit due 24 hours after auction ends. Car needs to be paid for in full within 3 days. I will do everything I can to make this a pleasant buying experience but PLEASE do not bid on it if you do not intend to buy it or if you do not have your finances in order.
