Mercedes 1959 220S Cabriolet. Partially restored, structurally sound -- except for rear frame bumper bracket area which will require 6-inch long reproduction pieces. About 90 percent of all chrome is redone. See photos included. Some trim has minor dings and may require a skilled craftsman to restore. To the best of my knowledge, the original engine is in the car. All mechanical systems will require expertise. The engine does not spin due to sitting idle for years. Not shown, is an additional engine, transmission, and rear suspension that will accompany the sale of this car. My partner and I closed our restoration shop and taking time to complete this project is not in our plans. So, it's your opportunity to own something that will only appreciate in value over time. I encourage you to call or inquire about this vehicle prior to any bid. A 5 percent deposit is due within three (3) days of auction end. The balance is due in seven (7) days.
