1929 GMC Fire Truck. Boyer Apparatus. Buick Engine (Original, GMC Truck used the Buick Motor in 1929). Nicely restored. Runs perfect. Original Buick 309 Has been completely rebuilt. As has the transmission and entire drivetrain. It starts faster than my new honda and idles just as smooth. Water pump, carb and gen are all rebuilt. Radiator rebuilt. Tires great. It really needs nothing mechanically. Fires right up, idles smooth and drives like a 1929 Fire Truck. I have had it to 45-50 and its smooth. Probably could do a bit more than that even. Brakes and ebrake work great. All light, gauges sirens (dual) are all in working order. New 6 Volt battery in the last month. I have a windshield for it (aluminum frame with safety glass, included). 780 GPM pump and two chemical tanks. Fire extinguishers, ladders,hose, lights, sirens axes etc.. all included. Body is excellent and paint is holding up very well since restored in 1992-94 approx. It has been stored indoors. I have documents showing its history. Originally purchased by the city of Colby, KS then sold to Grinnell, KS and then owned by the Wichita Fire Historical Society until it went private. Still has Kansas Clear title. Located one hour North of Sacramento in Auburn, CA. The truck is 6 ft wide and 19.5 foot long. Has Parade seats in the back and the beches open for storage. Has kids fire hats included for parades. Buy it now and have it in time for your 4th of July Parade. I towed it on a regular flatbed tow truck. Weighs 6500lbs. Please ask questions before bidding. I have a shipper that can bring it to your door here in CA. I can ship to the ports of Oakland Or Long Beach if necessary and it wil fit nicely in a 20ft container if going oversees.
