very rare ,only 277 made 94 mercury capri xr2 turbo. car was sitting under a car cover for approx. 7 years. i have replaced all tires, brake pads calipers and rotors. replaced fuel pump and filter, battery and drive belts. car runs very good turbo works no leaks from drivetrain.... does need a new windshield this one is cracked badly and also needs new convertible top. original owner had listed car on an online registry, you can find this by searching : 94 mercury capri xr2 registry : this car is #12 on the registry. car is all original paint . has small dent by frt emblem no major damage never been wrecked.interior very clean has leather seats....64,000 original miles.... again, runs great, no leaksOn Jun-18-12 at 10:04:29 PDT, seller added the following information: very rare, only 366 made around 250 imported to u.s. 94 mercury capri xr2 turbo. car was under a car cover approx. 7-years. i have replaced fuel pump ,drive belts and battery . have also replaced all brakes ,pads rotors and calipers. car runs great no leaks, turbo works. does need new windshield, this one is cracked badly on top side also needs convertible top vinyl. vinyl cut out around back window. car is registered on online registry, can be seen by searching 94 mercury capri xr2 registry online it is listed as #12. this car has original paint no accidents. has small dent by frt emblem as can be seen in one of the pics. interior very clean has leather seats ...64,000 original miles every thing still on car missing nothing,, air bag light flashes a code 12 after checking this out it needs diagnostic module which can be found online for around 300.00.. every thing on car works a/c ,locks, lights,.... no leaks from drivetrain brand new tires alsoOn Jun-20-12 at 09:26:31 PDT, seller added the following information: any one wanting a third party inspection needs to arrange before end of auction, once auction is over it will be sold. this car runs super i would not be scared to drive anywhere. as with any car with a timing belt, i would suggest having timing belt replaced ,most are recommended around 60,000 miles. i do not know the history of maintenance therefore if i were to buy car i would have it replaced for piece of mind . ...iam a certified general motors technician, i have totally been over this car there are no issues with engine or trans ...only problem with car as i have listed are windshield, vinyl top, and air bag light is on...every thing on this car works. great heat ,a/c blows cold all lights work, horn, cruise, wipers ,power windows and locks ...... this car will be sold to highest bidder i do not have time to re-list so again if you want an inspection do so before the end of auction.. thanks happy biddingOn Jun-20-12 at 11:36:57 PDT, seller added the following information: buyer will need to make arrangements to pick car up by 6-29-12 . iwill be going out of town on the 29 . this gives you a week to make arrangements. any questions please call 765-409-8442
