This is the 6 Cylinder Model model with a Inline 6 Cylinder with Mechanical Fuel Injection. The engine starts up and runs great with no fuss. It has upgraded electronic ignition. No points to worry about. The transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. I've been driving it around town recently and its performed well even on warm days. I was told the first owner was a Mercedes mechanic. It spent the summers in PA and the winters in FL. Starts Right up, runs and drives as it should. Exterior paint is New, It was professionally painted last fall and put back together over the winter. Interior is original and holding up well with just a small tear on the drivers seat, a couple of cracks above the gauge cluster on the dash. The door panels, headliner are in good condition. The wood on the doors and on the top of the dash near the windshield appears to have been relaquered at some point. The wood on the face of the dash is showing its age. The chrome looks better in the photo than it does in person. The most recent maintenance includes new motor mounts, trans mounts, rebuilt driveshaft ( New u joints, machine balanced, new Flex Disc, New center Support Bearing, New support doughnut) Newer battery, Brand new tires with less than 500 miles on them. The previous owner replaced the entire exhaust system with what looks like stainless steel system, rebuilt the injection pump - (yes its mechanically fuel injected). The head has also been rebuilt and since has been run with lead substitute added to the fuel. The headlamps were upgraded to the EURO Style Headlights. Everything seems to work and is intact. The AC would need a new hose or two before it would hold a charge again, however. the compressor and everything for the AC is in working order. The heater and blower work. One of the levers is broken off (common on these cars) I have the replacement lever that just hasn't been installed as of the time I'm writing this. Original Becker Radio Installed and working. AM/FM. Have extra set of Hubcabs that come with car that are painted to match. Have extra front and rear brake pads, oil filter and some miscellaneous stuff. This is a 40 + year old car is is being sold AS-IS. I wouldn't hesitate to go for a long trip in this car. It's not new. and because this is an older vehicle, I wouldn't make this my everyday car. I use it more as a Sunday Driver. This car is a real head turner and a great weekend cruiser. The vehicle is available for sale locally and other online ads.
