Now this is a Rare Find . . . . 1983 Mercedes Benz 500 SEC AMG . . . European Edition The color is Classic White Monochromatic with a Blue leather interior. Features include: AMG body kit AMG Steering Wheel AMG Lowered Suspension AMG Monoblock 16" Wheels Recaro front seats in matching blue leather Vintage Alpine Audio System with Amp, Crossovers and CD Changer As I understand the history of this Mercedes it was imported from Germany during the heyday of the “Gray Market” in the mid 1980's. The importer was Euro Spec, a major player back in the day with a big showroom on East Sunrise Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The car has remained in South Florida its entire life. This car runs very good, it starts right up and drives fine, there are no fluid leaks and no smoke, you could use it as an everyday driver but it really should receive some restoration. The paint is original and in remarkable condition for its age, the body is very solid and super straight with excellent panel gaps. The interior is also original and in good condition. Considering this is a 29 year old "Gray Market" car, the miles are probably not accurate. With a just professional re-dye these Recaro seats would look amazing The dash has one of those high quality contour fit covers Underneath the factory Mercedes floor mats, the original carpet is in beautiful condition Alpine 6-Dics CD Changer, two Blaupunkt 3 Way Crossovers and a Precision Power 250 watt amp. This old school set-up still sounds great. Real Bosch H4 Euro headlights The sunroof was sealed close with black silicone, it must of had a leak. You can hear the sunroof motor is working Rear window de-lamination Dunlop 225 50 ZR 16 tires with about 95% tread remaining This car is offered for sale by a licensed Florida Motor Vehicle Dealer.
