I have for your consideration a 1962 Dodge Polara, a rare car for today. Car is FACTORY Red on Red more rare. This is a project car that needs restoration or turn to Street Rod. This car needs new floors installed and another trunk lid. Floors are available on ebay and I have located a donor car for trunk lid. Almost all trim is there, inside and out. Previous owner removed the inside trim and had it rechromed and is still wrapped. Missing hood ornament, ignition switch, trunk lock and one letter on door, some under hood parts are also missing. New trunk lock and ignition switch available on ebay. Original motor will not turn so I would put a later in a 440. Original upholstery is there but unusable due to age, (reupholster) Remember this is a restoration car. Body is very straight with exception of left quarter panel (previous repair). trunk floor has some rust but is salvagable. Floors are rusted because car sat with water in it NOT because of salty roads, so rest of car is OK. Doors open and close very nice. Car has undercoating from factory. I will help with loading but transportation is buyer responsibility although I CAN transport within 100 miles for gas money. Gauge assembly has been removed but I have another with extra parts. On May-29-12 at 10:29:16 PDT, seller added the following information: I do not have a 440 for the car, you will have to find your own, they are easy to locate. Original 361 HP with 4 barrel carb and 305 horsepower is in the car, does not turn, will need to be rebuilt. I DO have a clear title in hand. Only one hubcap. There is also a small rusted area at vent grill at rear of hood, typical for 62s. I will not sell parts, all parts go with car. Chrome strip for front of hood is there but is repairable.
