Vehicle Detail
For your consideration is this beautiful 1981 Pontiac Trans Am. I purchased this vehicle with the intention of restoring it to my dream car, well time and financial constraints prevailed and now it's time for her to find a new roost. The gentleman I purchased this beauty from had taken out the original 301 motor and replaced it with a 400ci/6.6L motor, the motor has an Edelbrock four barrel carb. Also, he had body work done to the quarter panels and had it painted in an attractive color known as Medium Quasar Blue. The decals for the car came from Phoenix Graphics. He also replaced the seals for the T-Tops and had the seats reupholstered. The vehicle does have tilt wheel, but does not have cruise control. Vehicle has four wheel disc brakes. Since I purchased the car, I've had her tuned up, realigned, new gas shocks put on and bushings on the front replaced and I also replaced the T-Top moldings, which were cracked. I also placed a sharp looking set of Cragar SST rims on the car with a set of Good Year Wing Foot HP tires, these are 245 60R15s. If you're interested, I also kept the original Turbo TA rims that came with the car and I'll gladly throw them in. She does have dual exhaust and a pair of cherry bomb mufflers:). Now for the minor minuses: Door pins will eventually need replacing, front skirt is a little rough, but can easily be refinished, power lock switch on passenger side is protruding, she also has a minor leak from the rear seal. Also, a little corrosion to the top of the trunk seal. Lastly, AC is NOT connected and I have no idea if it works....my version of AC is taking the T-Tops off:) This is your chance to purchase a classic street machine at a very reasonable rate. I'd like to believe she'll be going to just as good and caring a home as she nests at now. Now for the formalities. Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of auctions end. A $250 deposit is due within 24 hours of auctions end via Paypal. The remaining balance is due within seven days of auctions end. If at any point, the time frame is not adhered to, any and all funds will be forfeited and non-refundable....NO EXCEPTIONS. If no contact is made within the first 24 hours, I reserve the right to relist the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Test drives and inspections are welcome anytime during the auction, but NOT when its over. If it is your intention to bid, but not to pay, please save everyone the time and headache and go elsewhere! I will pursue non payment vigorously through Ebay and legally. Please remember when you bid, you are entering into a binding contract to purchase the vehicle, be 100% sure you want it and you can afford it! Please realize and understand that a used vehicle is just that....used and as such it may have minor leaks, dings, minor dents and average roadwear for its vintage and mileage....and is not 100% perfect. If you require 100% perfection, please purchase a new car. This vehicle is being sold as is, where is.....with no warranty written expressed or implied. Please arrange your financing prior to bidding. please insure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and mileage of this vehicle prior to bidding. Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping of this vehicle. Should you choose to have the vehicle shipped, I recommend looking into Uship. Vehicle must be paid in full prior to my releasing it for shipment. The title will only be released upon payment clearing my financial institution. If you are unsure of something, please feel free to ask.....never assume! This is a beautiful classic bird, if I wasn't proud of her, I wouldn't offer her for sale to anyone. Good luck to all and thank you for looking!
