My grandfather bought this Classic VW Bug brand new, and it has always been in our family. No one has driven it more than 50 miles total over the last 20+ years, and it hasn't been driven at all since these photos were taken. The car has always lived in good weather in California, and has a black license plate. The engine was rebuilt fairly recently, as was the clutch. I fully restored it a few years ago, and the inside and outside paint job is in excellent shape, with the eye-popping pink and purple scheme you see in the photos (the original color was dark blue). I was planning to do an advertizing wrap for a business, but ultimately I didn't. However, the car is very eye catching and girls love the colors. It would be great fun for car clubs and classic car meet-ups. All the interior is new, including seats, carpet and headliner. Everything is stock except for 12v conversion. All the systems have been gone through, and the car is in really good shape and the engine starts well and runs great. I just had it fully detailed, and I put in a new battery and changed out the oil and gas. No radio, but it has a Viper Alarm installed.
