Up for sale is an incredibly beautiful 1988 Mercedes Benz 560sec coupe with only 77k miles and in near mint condition. I have owned this car for 15 years and enjoyed every minute and every mile! Every option works as it should including the air conditioning and seatbelt butlers (wish they didn't!). At this point the 560 needs nothing and can be driven anywhere, the pictures speak for themselves. The only changes made to the car was the updated wheels wrapped in proper Michelin MXV tires that are near new and the addition of a new stereo head unit with satellite radio and a 10 disc cd changer mounted in the trunk. These cars rarely come available in this condition and its a great opportunity to own a true classic. I had it repainted a two years ago at a total cost of $8,000 including removal of every moulding,trim piece etc.The 560 comes with some records from the Mercedes Benz store ,books , clean Carfax and clear title. This car is by no means perfect or concourse quality but its damn close! The following imperfections should be noted... * Hood insulation pad is mostly missing * Wood surrouding power window switches is partially delaminating * Very small oil leak only afetr car sits for more than two weeks (which it commonly does) * Small amount of frosting on lower part of rear glass (pictured) * Small chip in original windshield on passenger side * Windshield washer low light on even though full I by no way have delusions that this is a $25,000 car but I do know that it is not a $5,000 one either! If possible I would encourage you to come and have a look at it before the auction ends or arrange to have it looked at by a professional.
