Vehicle Detail
Black on Black 911 Targa with a stick shift - it is a real head turner. A real fun fast car. I would rate this Porsche to be in the "daily driver," condition. I've had it for five years and hate to part with it but unfortunately it is time. You'll have a lot of fun with this car but if you are looking for something in "Perfect," condition this is not the one for you. I am selling this Porsche "as is," no returns accepted. I purchased this Porsche from Fox Valley Motor Cars of West Chicago. I had new tires put-on last year, I've only used Mobile synthetic oil since I've had it. There is a Sony aftermarket CD player in it. The front seat leather is in good condition. The back seats are in decent condition - there is a tear in the top of one of them you will see in one of the pictures. There are some interior imperfections and areas that will need some attention. The steering wheel is aftermarket and was on when I purchased the Porsche. I would recommend changing it out for something better and always wished the original was still installed but never got around to changing. The wale tail is also aftermarket and was on when I purchased it. It is not the OEM wale tale. I had a local import mechanic go through the engine 4 years ago and replace the majority of the leaking seals. It started losing some oil again over the winter when it was in storage. You'll notice the AC unit is removed when you look at the engine photo's. I still have the AC unit and will include it of course. She's happiest if you let her idle for five minutes before you take-off. If the Porsche sits for too long between starts some smoke comes out the exhaust but it burns-off. It shifted hard when I bought it so I had my local import mechanic look at it and he changed all the fluid and that helped but it is still not like shifting a new car but then again it is 32 years old so you can expect that. Just trying to be as honest as possible so you know that you are buying a fun Porsche 911 but not a perfect one. Buyer is responsible for 100% of costs associated with freight and insurance. Payment via Cashiers Check or Cash in-person. Compare the price with others on the net - what I'm asking is extremely fair!
