Up for auction is this 1963 Ford F100 short bed truck. Great daily driver condition with everything working as it should. 6 cylinder engine with a 3 speed column shift manual transmission. Current California registration included and no smog needed. Engine runs strong and transmission work well, but has a slight grind into second gear that doesn't affect it's driving condition. Brakes, gauges, lights, turn signals, wipers, etc. all work as they should and I believe the only thing that doesn't work is the horn, but this should be a simple fix for the new owner. This truck has been repainted once long ago in it's original color. Interior paint is all original and in nice condition. This truck was brought back to life a few years ago after sitting in the desert and rarely being driven but never totally neglected by it's previous owner who used it sparingly. The truck is dry in the usual areas: floors, cab corners, fenders, hood, etc. are all very dry. There is some rust in the front of the bed as seen in pictures but the bed itself is very straight and has never been abused. To me the paint has benefited from being baked in the sun for all of those years and has given it a great patina look that could only come from nature and time and can't be duplicated. This truck gets plenty of compliments and is one of the best color combos in my opinion. I wouldn't hesitate to jump in and drive this anywhere. All stock and a very complete and original survivor. Clear California title included with the sale. Odometer shows just under 75k miles and I am unsure if this is original or if it has turned over.
