For Auction: 1975 Volkswagen Bus. Westfalia edition. This classic bus needs a new owner who will restore and preserve it. It is a complete vehicle with motor and transmission intact. The motor does turn over, just will not start. The gas tank is pretty much empty and may need to be flushed and refilled. This vehicle needs body work as the pictures show. The typical areas that are rusted through are the battery area and the driver side floor pan. The front or nose needs a new panel too. The positive: All glass is intact and mostly original with VW emblem on the glass. No cracks on any of the glass. That is a huge plus. It does turn over, so it isn't seized. The title is clear. It is a florida title. The camper top does open all the way, just needs a new canvas. The radio does work. It steers and rolls. The brakes work too. May need attention however. Keep in mind this is a 1975 and has not been on the road in some time. Has part of the back bed and the bench folds up no problem. The water tank is in there, sink too. No camp stove, but the fridge is there. The negative: It needs a lot of body work and paint. This vehicle is a perfect restoration project and will be so much fun when it is complete. I rescued it from the back yard of a neighbor that was about to lose it to the city. So I offered him cash and didn't want to see it end up in a junk yard. It is important to preserve historical objects such as these. Someone out there wants this and that is why it is on Ebay Motors. This vehicle comes with no written or verbal warranty.
