This is my 2002 Vw Jetta TDi wagon which I have had for two years and it's been my third TDI. I just bought it's big cousin(a sprinter van) and can't keep this as well. I bought it from a dealer and it had no records but seemed very well cared for. I just put new tires on it. Runs and drives great. Timing belt looks in good shape but I do not know when it was last changed. There are a couple small problems: There are some small rust spots that were just surface rust that I treated with POR15 (a special rust prep paint) I dented the drives rocker a little on a snow bank, but you can't really see it unless you bend down and look. The radio doesn't work and it just started causing the battery to die so I have just pulled the fuse for now. The pass side heated seat shorted and melted about 5 little spots in the seats. I obviously do not use the pass side anymore. These are great wagons that are very hard to find. Any questions please ask and I will respond asap and can send more pics if you like.
