Vehicle Detail

This is a sad tale. I bought this car in the fall of this year for my daughter after she totaled a 2008 Pontiac Soltice I bought for her new. My daughter does not take care of cars, so I decided that she would no longer get new cars bought by me (3 in total since she was 160. I found this VW Jetta with about 124,000 miles that was in excellent shape, but I spent a load of money getting it up to Maryland inspection standards. New brakes (pads and disks all around, the headlight covers needed to be polished plus a bunch of other things which Maryland inspection requires adding nearly 2 grand to the purchase price. At the end of the day it was a really nice car. Well after a few months of ownership and a few accidents, I took the car away from her and it takes up space and requires insurance. As I said, she does not take care of cars. So let's go through the issues I found with the car. 1. Dent on driver side (see picture) 2. Dent on passenger side (see picture) 3. Lower part of front air dam damage (see picture) 4. Passenger side mirror damaged and taped up (see picture) 5. Glove compartment hinge broken and latch broken. 6. Center arm rest top hinge broken. 7. A/C does not work. (it worked when I bought the car in the fall) 8. Interior has stains (see photos). 9. Spare tire is damaged and leaks. 10. One tire is worn past 80%, 11. Upholstery is not torn up but has stains which I have tried to remove but have had little luck (see pictures) The car is in very good shape mechanically, it starts and runs well. Sunroof works, power windows work, power locks work. After market CD/Stereo is kind of nice. It has the heated seat option. I drive it on weekends to do chores and, as I said, it works fine. The only thing I notice is that the idle could be a bit higher, but it doesn't affect the driveability. If someone only needs reliable transportation, this might be a decent and cheap solution.
