This is a 1954 Ford F100 Project Truck that I picked up and will describe the best that I can. This is All Ford!!! The Frame is Stock!! The Body is good but does have some rust areas like rear cab corners (please see pics), It does have a few dents and paint is older. I could not get the hood to fit right needs some ajusting! the doors all close good and glass is fair does have a few chips and cracks but there. The seat has been replaced with a nice newer one, I got it like that. gauges don't work. I replaced a couple of bad brake lines and the brakes work good. stops good The Engine is a 351 Windsor 1971 with a C4 Trans. I don't know anything about the engine other than it sounds and runs good, I don't know the condition of it. The guy I got it from had the truck parked for quite a few years, I did a few things like new starter, and some misc things and it started right up and runs really good! I have drove the truck around the block and it drives good and shifts like it should. It is a little rough riding. The wheels are Polished Center Lines, and the tires are good but have been sitting for a while. The under carriage is clean (please see pics). It has ply wood in the bed. The headlights work but the rear lights are not hooked up. I do have clear title from previous owner and it is out of the system so no problem there. I will provide bill of sale also. Overall this is a Great Project Truck, it has a lot of the hard work done just needs some TLC and Again I am selling it as a Project Not a done truck. I don't know anymore than I am listing other than I drove it around the block a few times and it still needs some attention to make it Road Worthy, not much!!! On May-12-12 at 15:27:10 PDT, seller added the following information: I just want to add, that The Engine runs as if there is nothing wrong with it, starts right up Lots of Power, quick response, No Smoking at all. What I have noticed is the oil looks a little milky, when I checked it and then when rechecking it, its fine. Not sure what is going on, But It runs Really Good. I want to be honest about the truck. On May-13-12 at 08:35:07 PDT, seller added the following information: I did a Compression Test on each cylinder No water or mositure and each plug was clean and dry, they read 100-110 for both sides. I am posting this because or the previous post I wrote about the oil. So I dont think it is anything major at least not a head gasket, This Trucks Motor Runs Great!!!! . maybe intake gasket?
