1956 Mercury Montclair with 39,000 original miles; the entire car is original. The car was just pulled out of storage as it is part of an estate sale due to a death in the family. It was stored for the last 40 years in a garage in Northern MN. It has never see winter roads, so you will not find rust on any part of the paint or underbody. The rear bumper does have some pitting due to moisture in the exhaust passing over it the times it was driven. The car has the merc-o-matic transmission. It does not have factory AC, nor does it have the larger engine option. Being the car was stored so long, then engine is being soaked to prevent damage before starting. All fluids are being replaced and all seals are being checked; also replaced, if needed. The car is nearly perfect; however, it will need tires, exhaust and a chrome tail pipe tip. Please review the pictures... you will see it is a beauty! I am listing this vehicle for my mother, it was her father's who just passed away. He had gotten it from his mother when she passed away and he stored it ever since. So technically, she was the only driver. The vehicle comes with a clean title. Local pick-up only...
