Salvage title car purchased in 2005 from another Ebay seller who operated a salvage yard in New Hampshire. Main parts to repair car were purchased and added over the last several years. Lack of time, waning interest, and lack of experience in acquiring a rebuilt title are the reasons for selling. Car has been stored for the most part but will crank and lot drive easily. Actually less than 5 miles have been put on the odometer since I got the car. New radiator and hoses. New washer fluid reservoir. AC lines reworked and replaced where necessary. Have new pressure switch not yet installed. Bumper shocks replaced. Replacement front bumper cover (same blue color)(has VIN #) and rebar installed.. Near new set of tires and wheels swapped in some time ago for what was on car when I got it. New battery added 3 years ago. New fuel pump installed about six months ago. BG additive products and Sta-Bil have been used all along. Have a new back window to include. Have side louver pieces for hood. Also have what I believe is a new and complete air bag system for the car. Car could be easily finished out and put on the road by someone familiar with the process of getting a rebuilt title in your state. Further work needed on the wiring harness going to the headlights, fog lights, horn. Include is a portion of a headlight wiring harness with connectors from a 97 Z3 6-cyl to use. I have my copy of the Bill of Sale signed by the seller and myself. I made copies of the salvage title signed by myself and the seller. But after signing and returning the title to the seller, I never received a title reissued in my name. Cooling Fan (pusher fan) included along with an Air Intake Tube Cover with receipt and the box it came in. I found this after answering a question that a pusher fan would be needed. An extra steering column with steering wheel and driver's airbag still attached and a key for the column in included. Looks like new. This is from a 97 Z3. An extra airbag system is included containing a driver's airbag, passenger airbag, and an airbag controller module. Main shipping box was unsealed when I got this a few years back, but the smaller boxes inside were still sealed until just last night to get photos. This kit might have been a salvage yard pull because there are some paint pen markings used but the items look new and the packing materials and the way they were packed suggest "NEW" from all angles. Custom fit foam, boxes, and antistatic bags for everything. This kit was $400 off of Ebay a few years back plus shipping which was not cheap. No corners were cut on shipping these Haz-Mat items. An extra set of wheel centerpieces and a larger BMW emblem for the hood is included. Extra windshield washer fluid reservoir (new). Lots of info, names and addresses, paper trails, etc. but the bottom line is no title in hand. Driver's airbag is blown. Panel over passenger side airbag is intact and passenger side airbag would appear to be good also. There are two good driver's airbags included. One is with the additional steering wheel and column. Another is with the packaged airbag kit. There is one passenger airbag included other than what is in the car. It is with the packaged airbag kit. About the body line between the rear bumper cover and the driver's quarter. The best advice I got was that it resulted from using the tow hook and a winch to trailer the car and is not considered to be a major item to resolve. The rear of the car has not been tampered with as far as swapping or replacing parts or such. The only major parts painted since I have had the car are the underside of the hood and the radiator support.
