TIRES AND RIMS ARE NOT INCLUDED - ORIGINAL TIRES AND RIMS WILL BE REMOUNTED ON THE VEHICLE WHEN IT HAS SOLD. THESE RIMS AND TIRES ARE FROM OUR SCOUT 800. This vehicle is not new and is pretty much all original, except for the side door mirrors which were an aftermarket item and ext. body paint This is a 1972 International Scout II, The manufacture date is January 1972. 1972 was the first full year of the Scout II. So as you can see this is one of the earlier editions. Original Truck color was Red and White (Previous owner painted exterior a (yellow cream color) the interior is still all original. The paint job was not professioanl. It looks just ok, what you might call a 50 footer paint job. not show quality, there are normal to above normal paint chips...There is one small (about 1") ding in the back driver side quarter panel, near tail light. We are the second owners of this vehicle. No major bondo... just a few skim filler prior to cream color coat of paint. Body is in great shape. NO RUST under the truck and very little under the body This is a 4 X 4 - and if you are familiar with Scouts they are an incredible 4 wheel drive! This one the 4 wheel drive does works very well. Lockouts work well 304 V8 engine With new Heads(complete valve job done by pro shop. and all upper gaskets, including exhaust Automatic Transmission - 727 Chrysler - one of the best made - shifts smoothly very strong RARE Power Steering was an option on the truck. Power steering works great. Handles great down the road Clear Title License is good through 7/2012 Glass is great all around - except one chip in windsheild. (Flat glass - so not hard or expensive to replace) Windows all roll up and down fine. Wings work also. If you know Scouts... The doors can be an issue. These work fine. Open and close nicely, all internals to doors including window mechanisms all working great. Dash Pad is in excellent shape - No cracks - No tears - Beautiful RARE Steering wheel in good shape, no major cracks Radio is workable, but not currently working. - We have heard music through it, but at present, it isn't working. All instruments on dash are working, including the dash lights as well. all engine gauges work. Door handles and knobs all there and working fine. Rear Hatch latch works, also has keys to rear hatch as well as door keys Turn signal, brake lights all work Heater and heater fan all work - already clean, no debris or leaves or nests... Front seat material cracked and torn from Sunlight - UV damage, so we put a Saddle seat cover over it. Front seat badly in need of recover. Back seat is fine Only a couple of very small holes Floor matting is original and is cracking and showing wear . In need of carpet or floor matt kit. Transfer case and front and rear gear boxes have been checked for fluid level Does not appear to have ever had any major rust. Looks good underneath. We have not found any major bondo either, only a couple of skim coats. Everything under hood is original, or nos oem replaced. This vehicle is not a total restore and Not without flaws, but it is a good running vehicle and in great shape for an unrestored vehicle. I would not hesitate to drive this cross country. It is a dependable vehicle. NOTE: THE TIRES AND RIMS ON THIS VEHICLE ARE NOT INCLUDED! I REPEAT TIRES AND RIMS ARE NOT INCLUDED. Because we are currently driving this vehicle until it is sold, we have the tires and rims from our 1967 Scout 800 on it. Once it is sold we will replace the original tires and rims back on the Scout II so it can be driven but they are not balanced and do not ride as good as my 800 tire/rims. The picture included of the spare is part of the original set and stays with the vehicle. The tires are good, but the rims are used and have not been balanced. So, please make note of this. We cannot let our Scout 800 rims and tires go with this vehicle. Please feel free to message us with any questions you may have or call us - 530-406-9169 or 530-604-7824.
