She had had one in college and always loved the car. Due to down sizing and life changes the MGA is being offered for sale for the first time since 1979. According to the owner the 1600 motor was rebuilt years ago and has about 2000 miles on it. The car was also updated with a weber carburetor. The car had been setting all winter and started on the first crank, I was impressed! The car runs and drives very nice and smooth. The brakes did pull a little to the right but it might just need to be driven. The tach seems to jump as well as the speedo but they do work. The heater is hooked up but is missing the heater controls. The seat, carpet and dash is in nice shape. The convertible top is like new and it also comes with the cockpit cover. The car has nice wire wheels with radial tires and the wheel hammer is in the trunk. I inspected the body and undercarraige and looked for rot everything looked clean. The paint is shiney but is driver quality. It does have some imperfections that I tried to picture but white tends to hide things. There is some spots on the hood and door that are a little rough. You do have to remember the car has never been painted since the current owner has had it. Looking in the trunk the original color looks to have been blue. All and all a very solid body with no rot that you could drive for years as is and enjoy! If you have been looking for a nice solid MGA to spend your hard earned money on this is your car! 1957 MGA Roadster

This MGA was bought for a wedding present for his wife back in 1979. She had had one in college and always loved the car.

Due to down sizing and life changes the MGA is being offered for sale for the first time since 1979.

According to the owner the 1600 motor was rebuilt years ago and has about 2000 miles on it. The car was also updated with a weber carburetor. The car had been setting all winter and started on the first crank, I was impressed!

The car runs and drives very nice and smooth. The brakes did pull a little to the right but it might just need to be driven. The tach seems to jump as well as the speedo but they do work. The heater is hooked up but is missing the heater controls.

The seat, carpet and dash is in nice shape. The convertible top is like new and it also comes with the cockpit cover.

The car has nice wire wheels with radial tires and the wheel hammer is in the trunk.

I inspected the body and undercarraige and looked for rot everything looked clean. The paint is shiney but is driver quality. It does have some imperfections that I tried to picture but white tends to hide things. There is some spots on the hood and door that are a little rough. You do have to remember the car has never been painted since the current owner has had it. Looking in the trunk the original color looks to have been blue.

All and all a very solid body with no rot that you could drive for years as is and enjoy!
