Vehicle Detail
The Ford ZX2 or Escort ZX2 is a "sportier" version of the Escort. The Escort ZX2 was first introduced in 1998. A sporty version of the Escort returned to the public in 1998, a coupe called the ZX2. Ford gave the ZX2 a flashy body style and a 2.0-liter 16-valve engine dubbed "Zetec" that pumped out 130 horsepower and hustled the ZX2 from 0 to 60 mph in around 8 seconds. This car has been down the highway a time or two but has lots of life left in her. The previous owner lived in Pa. and visited family someplace else which is where the bulk of the miles came from. It has good Pa. state inspection thru 3/13. She will need tires before long. Depending on how picky you are, you may want to replace the windshield. There is a crack on the passenger side. (It did pass inspection that way). Inside she is very clean. The previous owner had a pet and I mention that for we have been cleaning out pet hairs since we got it. As a result of sitting in the garage with the windows open; I believe all the trace scents are gone. Clean retail is $3575. We are not expecting anywhere's near that however with five young adult children she is fine to continue sitting in the garage (just in case) if we cannot realize what we think is a fair price. Good inexpensive cars are getting hard to come by, this I know from my profession so if you need a good runner that you can travel in if you so desire, this could be her. Just hit that buy it now or be the highest bidder over reserve and you will be pleased. All the lights and safety equipment work as it should. The air even is cold. The only questionable option is the 6 disc CD player in the trunk which acts a little funny from time to time. Any questions feel free to ask and I will give you the most honest straight forward answer I can. I hope I haven't forgotten anything. With that let me say, good luck bidder...
