Heres a nice project you can enjoy immediately! This Rambler is almost completely rust free with the exception of one small spot in the floor behind the drivers seat. This car runs and drives very good with smooth quiet engine, good three speed automatic, and brakes. The tires are very good tread wise but possibly a little out of balance as you can feel a shake at 60 mph. The engine runs very well but does smoke some and occasionally will foul a spark plug. The previous owner said the car had set for a long time and I have noticed that it seems to be somewhat less since but I've owned it. It has been painted at sometime in its life and the clear coat is coming off. The interior is fairly decent (see pictures) and certainly usable but there is no headliner. Heater, lights, signals all work as does the generator. The body is very straight with only a couple of small dings here and there. I drove the car daily for months after I bought it until something else came along (another car!) and have decided to sell it as it has just been sitting under a shed gathering dust. I will be retiring in a couple of years and need to thin the herd. I know I'm going to be asked if the car could be driven to its new home and yes it probably could but no guarantees as it's over 50 years old with all the potential problems that could occur so its up to the buyer to take that chance!
