1962 Galaxie 500 XL 2 Door Hard Top This is a great car for restoration, rat rod or custom project !!! This is a factory 390 car with the 300 HP option that had the 4 barrel carb. Vin Number is 2J67Z164216 Body 65B, Color F, Trim 82, Date 14E, Axle 1, Trans 4 I got this car form a guy who started to restore the car but ran out of funds. Includes: Body in good condition with only a little rust over the passenger door on the roof (See Picture) Engine compartment has been cleaned and painted black. Front grill is in the trunk. All bright trim is included. The both bumpers are also included. All windows are included with no cracks. The windshield has a scrape from the wiper. All interior is there. Needs to be redone but includes the sought after electric bucket seats power windows and locks and original XL center shifter console. Original C2AE 390 4 barrel engine. The engine is not in the car but is complete. The valve covers, oil pan, carburetor and other external components are missing. The engine was pulled without trying to start it so the condition is unknown. Working Cruise-O-Matic transmission. Radiator has been pressure checked and painted. Front suspension has new bushings and painted A arms and springs. No shock absorbers. I was told the brakes have new pads, slave cylinders and all new hardware. The brakes are attached for some reason to a Chevy power booster and single reservoir master cylinder. The brakes function but the power part is not working. I’m including the original booster.
