Vehicle Detail
Thanks for taking a look at this 2000 Dodge Dakota SLT 4x4. While some dents and dings confirm its life as a real-life hard workin' truck, it's been well maintained, and runs and drives great! Whether you need something for tooling around on the farm or worksite, commuting to the office, or running errands on the weekend, this truck will fit the bill nicely. First Impressions: From the outside, you can tell it's roomy, with its true four-door quad-cab design and open bed, with plenty of room for hauling the kids and their stuff, or your work crew, and your equipment. Even though it looks big, it still has a smaller turning radius, is easier to park, and gets better fuel economy than a full-size truck. The bed has a Mopar bedliner, and includes a bed extension railing, allowing you to fold down the tailgate and extend the bed by another couple feet. A Look Inside: Sit in the power driver's seat, and you're faced with a full gauge cluster, including oil pressure and tachometer. The four-wheel-drive shifter is ready to take you into the field, and the automatic transmission lets you be a little more lazy on the highway. Power windows and door locks include a lockout button to keep kids in back from messing with the rear windows. The seats are comfortable and in good shape. There are a multifunction trip meter and a storage compartment overhead. Under The Hood: This truck is powered by Chrysler's Magnum v6 engine- basically, a small-block v8, with two cylinders chopped off. A tried-and-true design, and a real truck-worthy engine, not a small-car engine dropped into a truck chassis. Basic maintenance items are easy to identify and get to, and there's plenty of room to work. The automatic transmission makes the truck easy to drive, and the selectable four wheel drive means you can take it just about anywhere! The truck has a clear title, and is ready for immediate sale. The truck comes with two keys and one RKE (remote keyless entry) fob. It has been a reliable daily driver, and has been replaced with a full-size truck inhereted from a death in the family (also why we're forced to sell it). Aside from the normal wear and tear, there are a few issues that I'm aware of with the truck. One, the rear passenger side window needs a part so it can roll up and down, and has been fixed in the "up" position. The "airbag" light in the dash is on, and I haven't taken it to a mechanic for troubleshooting. Some recent work: the front brake rotors were badly worn, so the truck has new front brake rotors and pads. A new passenger side tail light has been ordered to replace the broken one. That's pretty much it. I've done my best to describe the truck, however I am human and, subsequently, imperfect. I'm also selling this vehicle for my sister, since she's not exactly computer-savvy. I'm sure to leave out some detail, but a picture is worth a thousand words. Read the descriptions. Look at the images. Think about what you're bidding on before you bid. If you have any questions, just ask- I'm just an e-mail away. The vehicle may be demoed by appointment. Please keep in mind, this is a used vehicle, so I make no warranty, expressed or implied. It should go without saying, but don't bid on this item if you don't actually want it. Don't bid on it if you can't afford it, or don't plan on paying for it. Please don't bid on this if you have low feedback, or if you have a significant amount of negative feedback. Ten percent deposit to be made withn 48 hr. of auction end, and remainder to be payable on receipt of item. You can drive this truck home, or I can deliver within 250 mi. (of ZIP Code 63379) for $2 per mile, or you can arrange for shipping and I'll help the shipper load the vehicle. Thanks for viewing, and have a great day!
