1968 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE Beautiful daily driver convertible 'Stang for your cruising enjoyment. I purchased the vehicle from the daughter of the original owner in 2010 and have enjoyed it since. It has always been owned by an adult and is unmolested. It is a true classic survivor that you will enjoy for many years. The body is in excellent shape for a daily driver with no rust issues. The frame rails, cowl, torque box and usual suspect areas are all in solid shape. The car was repainted from ivy gold to metallic green 3 years ago. This 'Stang is sound both mechanically and electrically. Engine runs great and transmission shifts smoothly. All options work including the power convertible top. I have the partial build sheet from the Ford factory. The following repairs and upgrades have been made under my ownership: 1. New brake system from wheels to master cylinder. Car stops on a dime with no pulling. 2. Reconditioned Autolite 1100 carb from Pony Carburetor 3. New tires 4. Pertronix Ignitor electronic ignition 5. New suspension components - shocks, tie rods, idler arm, lower control arms 6. New gas tank 7. Exhaust manifold machined true 8. New fuel pump 9. New cooling system hoses 10. C4 Automatic Transmission flush with new filter and ATF. 11. New front seat covers. Interior is in good condition and original right down to the Philco AM radio which works. Car is located in Charlotte, NC. Clear NC title. Odometer reads 135,723 but I am listing it as unknown for legal reasons.
