This 78 little red express has a colorful history. Originally sold new in 1978 at Blackwell Dodge in Danville, Va. to WDVA AM radio station for their around town truck. As soon as it was purchased WDVA had the complete truck repainted in the stations colors. They traded back to Blackwell Dodge in 1979 for a new 79 Little Red Express. In return they had the 79 painted yellow also. The truck set a while and was purchased in 1980 by the fellow I bought it off of. He used it everyday as a work truck until 2004 when I purchased it. I brought the truck home and was going out in it the night I bought it. Took it to the gas station right down the road from the house, filled it up and as soon as I was getting back in the oil pressure dropped and I shut it off. The engine is fine with needing an oil pump. I wanted to do a complete restoration on it but as time went by it just sat. Now is your turn to restore it. The truck is complete numbers matching and all original except for the yellow paint. Factory E58 360 police engine and automatic transmission. 3.55 rear end without traclock. Factory air condition, AM/FM radio, cargo light are the options. Needs very little in rust repair. A couple small areas in the cab floor and the passenger door is the worst.
