1971 Super Beetle ( Classic Karmann) Convertible. This Beetle is back on auction because of a non paying bidder. Never paid for or came to pickup vehicle. Please follow through with the sale if you bid. I received this Beetle on trade for some Carpenter/ Siding work I did. The car is complete but needs a total restoration. As you can see by the inspection sticker on the windshield it has not been on the road since 1988. Miles on odometer show 40285 but most likely odometer has turned over. It sat outside for a while but was inside the building I did the work on. Had been there for around 20 years. It does need floor pans and the engine is locked and will not turn. The engine could be rebuilt or replaced. The top frame works good and is solid. All windows and chrome trim around them are good. This would make a nice Convertible if restored. Will need to be towed. I have decided to let the beetle go to use the money for other projects that have already been started. Take a look at the pictures to see if this is a resto for you.
