1949 Packard 7 Passenger Limo. Show Car. This car is all Original. 1949 Packard Super 8 Deluxe Limo holds 7 passengers. Has roll up Partition window. Extremely Rare only 315 produced. This car won a 1st place Packard at the Antique Auto Club of America. Body Number 2270 Series 2222 Vin # 2270-9-2312 Sold New for $4,000. Custom built at Henney's Plant in Freeport Illinois. Engine Specs: 327 C. I. Straight Eight Developing 145 HP 266 Ft. lbs. @ 2,000 RPM. Wheel base 141 inches. Lenght 18 Ft. 10 inches. Weight 4,660 Lbs. Interior, Paint, Drive Train, all original. In excellent condition. The car has low mileage. The chrome is in excellent condition, The Leather in the Front seat is in excellent condition, the Dash is excellent, all Glass in great condition, the tires are in very good condition. Dear jackie10sing, Over the years I have put together an extensive roster of 1948 - 1950 Packards, some 2,500 entries, and your car is the only 1949 survivor I have specific record of. There are two others which were originallly built as 1948 cars, did not sell during the 1948 model years and were renumbered as 1949 models and sold. I certainly cannot say i have records of every surviving 1949 2270 but indications are that they are quite rare. I would be surprised if more than a half dozen still exist. Robert - engines-aero
