You are bidding on a 1984 Mercedes Benz 500SL.  This is a European 500 and has 240 horsepower and a taller rear axle.  At 60 mph, the car turns 1800 RPM and at 3000 RPM the speed is 93 MPH, which makes it a very easy running motor.  The car is blue with cream interior.  The interior condition is a 9 out of 10.  The car has 2 rear jump seats, as you can see in the picture, perfect for small children.  This is a one owner car that was bought new in Portugal and then brought to the United States a few years ago.  All functions work properly including ice cold air conditioning.  The car has its original European bumpers, headlights, and original instruments. The European headlights are adjustable for range and work well. The only change is a new after market radio.  All books and 3 sets of keys are present with the car as well as both hard top tools.  All maintenance is up to date, including oil change and transmission oil and filter change. The car still has it's original convertible soft top and it is in excellent condition, clear windows and not a single tear. It also has the original hard top with rear defogger and it is in perfect condition with not a scratch.  The dash has no cracks.  Most, if not all paint is original, however both front fenders have minor rust in the typical places. The rest of the body has a few scratches and a few dings, typical with the age of this car.
