Where were you in 62? I was in the 3rd grade, and I thought these were the best looking pickups out there. This rare pickup has the legendary Hercules V-6 engine with four speed manual trans. I believe the cubic inch disp. is 305. Spark plugs go into the head up in the intake manifold. Very restorable barn find. It looks to be all there and quite original, even down to the oil bath air cleaner, and wood bed floor. There is some rust here and there, but Ive seen worse, and it IS 50+ years old! NO RESERVE!! Title in hand. The glass is all good. The interior is pretty good, except the seat right where the driver sits has a bad spot. Actually the truck was BEHIND the barn, not in it. It seems to run fairly well considering the terrible gas that was in it. I started to take it apart for restoration, then plans changed and I hung the fenders and front back on to take some pictures. NO RESERVE!! HIGH BIDDER will own! It does run and drive,(sort of) and will load onto a trailer for the trip to your place. You could probably bleed the brakes and clutch and put better tires on it and drive it the way it is. I went around the block slowly in it and then the radiator started to leak, but there is another one in the bed that looks good. It would be a great project for father and son (or daughter) and will be worth a boat load of cash and alot of fun when completed.
