You are bidding on a 1993 Saab 900S convertible in what I would call very good survivor condition. This car has not been restored, but very well-kept and is ready to drive anywhere right now as-is. 2.1 liter 4 cylinder, 3 speed automatic transmission, power everything. If you are looking at this auction then I am sure you are knowledgeable on Saabs so I will spare you the history lesson and my personal convictions on how great I think they are. This is a true auction and I WILL NOT end auction early, no matter what. Highest bidder will own this car. This Saab has 140,500 original miles and I would hop in and head out for California in it today!! I will list all of the “good”: 1. Runs and drives GREAT!! 2. Have repair receipts (history) since 1998. 3. Rebuilt automatic transmission @ 112K miles($2200 not including labor and other parts). 4. New tires @ 127K miles. 5. New tie rods and alignment @ 128K miles. 6. New brakes, belts, tune-up, expansion tank between 107K and 114K miles. 7. Older receipts for new steering rack, radiator, cooling fan, etc in it’s past. 8. Comes with Original window sticker, 3 keys, 2 working security remotes, and tool kit. 9. Tan leather interior. 10. Original top hard-boot with vinyl storage bag. 11. All signals and lights work. 12. No warning lights are on. ABS, Airbag, systems in working order. 13. Rear defroster works. 14. Very clean dash with minor cracks, dash face is excellent!! 15. Clarion sound system, original 150w, that works great. 16. Clean original wheels. 17. Good suspension and axles. 18. Power windows(driver side rear does not work) 19. Power seats, heated driver side that works great. 20. Working power mirrors. 21. Working cruise control. 22. Working power top. 23. Central locking(including trunk) in working order(works with remotes as well). 24. Original paint from what I can tell, driver door is the only part that has been painted. 25. Solid body with just a few minor rust spots. 26. Clear KY title, licensed and insured in my name. I’m sure there is much more that I’m not thinking of right now….overall a great car! Now I will list what all I consider as “needs work” or non-functioning: 1. Left rear window does not go down. Possibly a switch. 2. Gas gauge does not work. Possibly sending unit. I just fill up every 300 miles. 3. Power antenna does not work. 4. Windshield washer pump does not work. 5. Missing driver side fog light. 6. Front bumper has tear on left side and is missing center trim. 7. Needs belt for AC compressor and re-charge. 8. Top frame needs minor work at one joint, still fully functional. 9. One tear in lower left of driver seat back. 10. Original paint is faded, needs professional buff and wax(I did a quick hand wax before I took pictures). 11. Needs minor rust repair at some point on right rear wheel well and driver front floor. May consider replacing driver door due to lower rust issue, but is repairable. 12. Needs new material for the top. So to sum it up….Great survivor in drive anywhere condition. Excellent example of an icon of the 80’s and 90’s!! Put a new top on it and your ready for years to come as-is. If desired, it wouldn’t take much to make it new all over. I’ve tried to list everything good and bad about the car and take pictures.
