Vehicle Detail
I bought this car as a resto-mod project. The more I look at it from both above and under, the more convinced I am that this is a low miles car that got put in a side lot or feild and sat till the interior went away. It is a factory V8/auto.(289 C. I.) No power steer, or brakes. The engine paint & fender wells are factory and untouched. The seat and dash pad are factory and the only sign of wear is having the sun beat on them for years. The pedal pads show VERY little wear. The door panels and 1 arm rest are gone, The head liner is also shot. The carpet is a little faded but re-usable. The glass I would call fair. The wheels are AR Tourque Thrust 14" and appear to be early run. All the stainless is there, removed for polish, and will look great once done.( I had to repair 1 of the bed corners, and it will have to be re-chromed) The paint is probably a re-paint as it is pretty orange peel, but still shines up NICE. Now,I have no way of knowing if the mileage on the odometer is correct, and you can call me weird if you want, but these things are only original once. I have a real thing about cutting up a low miles/original. Can't make myself do it. So, maybe someone else wants a resto project and will appreciate it for wht it is. The reserve price (not much above the starting price) is what I have in it. Buyer responsible for shipping. I will help with loading. I reserve the right to remove this listing prior to end as it is for sale locally. Thanx for looking. Any questions, just ask.On Apr-15-12 at 08:20:55 PDT, seller added the following information: I bought this car as a resto-mod project.
