Vehicle Detail
This car runs great. It will not win any show car awards. This was built as a fun driver and used to tool around onthe weekends etc. The body is acceptable for that and the glass is all good. The trunk floor has been replaced completely along with the lower quarters both in front of and behind the rear wheels, each side. The right hand side from just behind the door ahd some paint scratches. The fuel tank and sending unit are new. The interior needs the back seat replaced. The package tray is new as are the door panels and the panels by the rear seat. The headliner is new. The carpet has been replaced. The front seats are from Jegs and have 4 point harnesses. The dash has amp, volt, oil, fuel, temp, trans temp, speedo and tach. They are all autometer gauges. The front glass is new. The rear vent windows do need the window locks installed. The sub frame connectors have been installed. The hood is a fiberglass 6pack type, i do have the original hood. The engine has been rebuilt with the following: crankshaft .010 undersize, bore .030 oversize KB162 Pistons, Comp Cam #XE274w/comp lifters and new springs. The heads are the 915's with no work done other match porting to the Performer RPM intake. The headers are Hooker competition with 3" exaust and flowmaster 40 series mufflers. The carb is a Holley 670 Street Avenger. The distributor is an MSD unit with a Mopar 6AL box. The fan and alternator are driven by a March serpentine pulley/belt. It has a valley pan and new oil pump along with a dbl roller timing chain. The trans is a stock unit with a shift kit and cooled by a seperate trans cooler connected with AN hoses and fittings. The rear is 3.55 ratio with an auburn sure grip unit. The front drums have been replaced with disc brakes and the the front suspension has the poly bushings installed. This is not a number matching car, this is also not a show car. But this is a dependable driver that is fun to drive. which is how it was built.
