Vehicle Detail

The fact that this is a 65 fastback with factory options like a "C" code V8 engine and a 4spd make it desirable enough but the fact its a T5 makes it exceptionally rare. They made fewer of the cars then Shelbys from 1964-1970. This car is in the T5 registry and history about the model can be found on the internet and in mustang month mag which has done articles on these cars. They did a great article on G Hansens super nice T5 years ago. Unique features on these cars include the lack of the name mustang- note the gas cap, steering wheel center and fender tags. The cars also had disc brakes (this one is missing them and had drums on them to roll it around), the cars also came with the one piece export brace and the reinforcement cowl plate from the factory like the 65-66 shelbys. The DSO code is the desirable "91". This car is a project. I had some work done to it by a welder like the one piece floor, quarter skins etc but its wasn't ptofessional restoration work and at this point I have let it sit for lack of funds to get more done. I would reccomend stripping it down to nothing and doing a full restoration- this car is rare and deserves it. The fenders are not original to the car. It is a mostly complete project car but there are some things here and there I havent bought yet so everything I have is in the pictures so what you see is what you get- nothing else. I do have the pass side door glass and the trap door thats not shown. I know for sure I dont have the shifter assembly/mechanism for the toploader. The car does not run or brake so please make sure you can get it home or pay for the shipping. Please make sure you ask any questions and have the money to pay before you bid. CT is a non-title state for cars this old and its been off the road for many years so its not regitered for the road. What you get for paperwork with the car is a official CT bill of sale CT H-31. This means that you most likely can't transport it out of the country unless you purchase it and then work to get a title elsewhere- find out for sure before you bid. Again, all you will get from me is the CT H-31. The car is sold as is where is- I don't ship but can be here for your shipper to release the car once the funds clear. Deposit of $150 due within 48hrs of auction close, full payment within 7 days of auction close. Pickup up must be within 3 weeks of auction close unless agreed upon in writing beforehand. Payment must clear before the car is release and bill of sale provided. Please make sure you understand and can conform to the auction rules before bidding so we don't waste each others time. This is a very rare car well worth a the full restoration it deserves.
